Element at the Knitting Factory

I went to the Knitting Factory to see my friends perform in the Speak Your Mind Hip Hop Music Festival but due to a lengthy, somewhat obnoxious line, I missed their performance. However, I had my camera in tow so I shot some photos of Element Thursday, April 29, 2010 and they were a lively upbeat group to shoot. I was happy w/ the crotch-grabbing, chopped head shot and waited for sometime to have that composition fall within my frame.

Splash Dogs

I covered the dress rehearsal for the Splash Dogs Competition and it was pouring and I had to photograph a graduation that began at the same time so I didn't have long on this shoot; nonetheless, the photos I made amused me. Wet dogs naturally make good features.
